Potato Dumplings


Ingredients:

  • 1 kg floury potatoes
  • 250 g wholewheat flour
  • 100 g wholemeal semolina
  • 1 egg
  • 1-2 teaspoons butter
  • salted water

Preparation:
Peel the cooked potatoes and mash while still hot.

When the potato has cooled down, mix in the egg, flour, semolina and butter. By hand quickly work into a loose dough. Make about 8 dumplings, bring to the boil in the salted water and then simmer for ten minutes.
